PVLGA member Zara Logan outdid herself on Tuesday, May 10, when she made a hole-in-one on the par 3 hole 6 from 88 yards. She used her 9-iron as she and her golfing buddies watched the ball roll in. It was indeed a special day, as it was her first hole-in-one. Luckily, she is a member of the Hole-in-One Club and received $100. May you have many more aces, Zara, and good luck to all members who are still waiting for that special day!
On May 17, PVLGA had its final scramble and general meeting before members headed off to cooler weather. The event was titled “Hats Off to Cinco de Mayo and Margaritas!” It was a fun scramble and delicious Mexican buffet!
PVLGA continues to play on Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m. throughout the summer months. The next event will be “Fun Day” on June 7 with crazy golf holes, a brunch, and board games.
