Jeanette Rajamaki
There are lots of folks traveling to Alaska this summer and to Norway and Iceland as well. Unfortunately, travel this summer has been disrupted by Delta Airlines, in particular, flight issues because of technology and lots of claims. The major fires in the Denali National Park in Alaska closed roads and lodges for weeks, crippling the tours that go into Northern Alaska with power outages.
The Paris Olympics were awesome, and a group of us went to Geneva and traveled south of France for eight days a few weeks before. Vic Hermann hosted a small group in Bordeaux at the end of the Olympics, with awesome weather.
I will be hosting next August 2025 Paris to Normandy beaches, so call me at 602-909-2000 for more information and pricing.
Folks are planning and booking for the holidays, as cruises are filling to the Caribbean for December and January. Now is the time to start planning and booking for late spring and next summer. Maybe it is the tulips in and around Amsterdam which sells out quickly. Or join me to visit the gardens at Claude Monet’s home in Giverny, or the gardens at the Hall of Versailles, always amazing.
The schedule of Savvy Travelers meetings and events is as follows. (There are no dues, and there are always presentations by various vendors.)
