The Sun Lakes Democratic Club (SLDC) meeting in March is your opportunity to hear from fellow Arizonans anxious and willing to work on your behalf at the county and state level. You’ll hear from the following:
Jonathon Hill, Democratic Candidate for AZ Corporation Commission
Mr. Hill, a scientist and engineer, is currently working on his Ph.D. and has spent the last 15 years at the ASU Mars Space Flight Facility. He is running as a clean election candidate for a seat on the five-person board overseeing several hundred public utilities in Arizona.
Gregory Freeman, Democratic Candidate for Maricopa County Assessor
Mr. Freeman’s background in the real estate business working for MPB Realty Services makes him a good fit for the County Assessor’s position. As County Assessor, Mr. Freeman will be handling the 1.8 million real and personal property parcels/accounts, with a cash value of more than $717 billion.
Brandy Reese, Democratic Candidate for AZ House, LD 13
Ms. Reese is a forensic scientist, a former peace officer, and the mother of two children. A graduate of Oklahoma University, she now lives in LD 13 and is running to win one of two House seats the legislative district will send to the 2025 Legislature.
Jennifer Pawlik, LD 13 AZ House Representative
Rep. Pawlik will provide an update on bills before the Legislature and how the session is going.
SLDC is made up of like-minded individuals who are part of over 2,500 registered Democrats throughout the Sun Lakes area promoting an Arizona that works for everyone.
