The Spooner Physical Therapy-sponsored team, managed by “Super Joe” Commisto, ran away with the Sun Division Fall title, sporting a record of 16 wins and only 4 losses. Manager Jon Hendrikse’s Redeemed Team finished a distant second at 9-11. The Top 10 hitters in the Division were George Siegele (.818), Mike Lebet (.800), Brian Denham (.785), Dennis Henderson (.750), Thom Stephens (.734), Marty Hobby (.714), Dave Cooper (.698), Jon Hendrikse (.688), Mark McKinnon (.675), and Brad Wendt (.674). Six players hit double digits in homers, led by George Siegele’s 23. Marty Hobby was a close second with 21 round-trippers and was followed by Greg Lemmon (14), Mark McKinnon and Mike Lebet (both with 12), and Brian Denham (11). Kurt Carmichael was the doubles leader with 18, while Ron Carmichael, Mark Kuechler, and Rick Oien led in triples with four each.

We were saddened by the recent passing of Judy Bleich, wife of longtime player and member Dick Bleich. Our condolences go out to Dick, his family, and Judy’s many friends. May she rest in peace.
