Save the date! You will not want to miss this special event at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 9, in the Oakwood clubhouse located at 24218 S. Oakwood Blvd., in Sun Lakes. The morning has been planned just for you. The program includes a continental breakfast (coffee, tea, pastries, fruit) with gluten-free available upon request, as well as live music, a guest speaker, and style show. In addition, the Crystal Card Project greeting cards will be available for purchase.
The cost is $20, including tax and gratuity, payable at the door by cash or check.
Our special feature, Judy Dragoo, is the owner of JudyWear Boutique located at 950 E. Riggs Road in Chandler. Judy believes fashion should be fun and functional. She encourages her customers to step out of the box and explore their style. This fabulous store caters to women of all ages, professions, body types, and personalities with a hand-picked selection of clothing, jewelry, and accessories. She also offers hair tinseling, the new and fun way to highlight your hair. JudyWear just celebrated five years of sharing a passion for style with women in the East Valley.
Our guest speaker Sharon Engram is an author, speaker, podcaster, and former entrepreneur in a jewelry business. Sharon resides in Goodyear, and was happily married to her best friend and sweetheart for 60 years. She then co-authored a book with her daughter to give hope to widows, called Surviving Widowhood: 40 Devotions of Hope. Come and hear Sharon as she shares about “My Life in a Suitcase.”
Our special musician and vocalist will be Diana Perez, a Sun Lakes performer who provides entertainment at various locations in the Valley. She participates every November in the Jazz Festival at the Crown Royal Plaza Resort in Chandler. Diana will also provide piano music for the pre-brunch coffee/chat time. Roz Pederson will provide piano music during the style show.
