The Sun Lakes Card Makers are meeting in April to discuss plans for the summer. We meet year round and will be discussing calendar sign-ups as well as hosts for summer meetings. We meet in the Arts and Crafts Room of Phase 1 on the third Wednesday of each month at 1 p.m. We also usually gather together for lunch at the Sunset Grill around 11:30 a.m. on the same day. Our April meeting day is April 20 at 1 p.m.
All area card enthusiasts are encouraged to check us out for card making ideas and advanced training. Each month has a different theme, and the host for the month makes up card kits for the membership on her chosen theme. We make the cards during our meeting time, so a basic stamping kit is needed with black ink, colored pens and/or pens, scissors, glue or tape, and a willingness to try new ideas as presented by our hostess.
The group is very friendly and welcomes new members. We look forward to meeting new members, but at this time, we are not taking totally “new” members, so you must already have a basic knowledge of stamping and card making. Come by to check us out in the Craft Room. All are welcome! Contact Johnie Scofield at 602-510-7995 for more information.
