Tony Sarah of Earth’s Original Organics

Starla Kramer

Tony Sarah of Earth’s Original Organics is the featured speaker on March 19. He has a Bachelor of Science in horticulture from the U of A, making the dean’s list. He’s a member of the International Society of Arboriculture and the Rare Fruit Growers. He’ll share information about container planting and vegetable and flower gardening. Bring your gardening questions, because Tony is sure to know the answers.

He’s the co-creator of an award-winning potting soil, and he formulated Earth’s Original Organics fertilizers. His large Facebook fanbase started calling it “Tony’s Magic Mix” and “Tony’s Magic Flower Mix,” which became the official name. His formulas were voted 2022 Best of the Valley by Phoenix magazine. His customers love sharing pictures of the biggest tomatoes and their healthiest produce on the Facebook page!

Tony will bring a truckload of his “Magic” products, because members and guests will want to purchase them after the meeting.

Meetings are held every month (including summer) on the third Tuesday. A field trip and other activities are also scheduled each month. Attendees gather at 9:30 a.m. to socialize and enjoy refreshments and coffee. During this first half hour, we greet the guests, check out gardening books from our reference library, and purchase raffle tickets. There is also a “Free Stuff” table to review, where members donate citrus, herbs, or plants for other members. The meeting is called to order at 10 a.m. The meeting ends at approximately 11:45 a.m., and members and guests often go across the street to the Sun Lakes Country Club for lunch afterward.

Check out our monthly newsletters and membership options to join the club on our website, SunLakesGardenClub.com.

The meeting location is the Chapel Center (house next door to Sun Lakes All Faiths Community Church and across the street from Sun Lakes Country Club), 9230 E. Sun Lakes Blvd. N., in Sun Lakes.
