Sun Lakes Lady Niners

The Sun Lakes Lady Niners continued enjoying the golfing season during March and April, which concluded league play for the 2023-24 season. Highlights of the season included the Welcome Back brunch hosted by Jan Sykes on Jan. 13, participation in the SunBird Golf Club Home on Home Tournament at the SunBird Golf Club on Feb. 27, participation in the Apache Wells Invitational at Apache Wells on March 13, and the End of Season brunch hosted by Eileen Ness on April 13. The Sun Lakes Lady Niners enjoyed the warm hospitality extended by the SunBird and Apache Wells Lady Niners. The weather was beautiful, and the friendly competition made for enjoyable outings.

The Sun Lakes Lady Niners is a fun group of ladies of all ages and golfing abilities, from beginners to more advanced levels of play. A different game is played each week based on handicap to provide everyone a chance to win. The Lady Niners golf at Sun Lakes Country Club on Tuesday mornings at 9 a.m. (10 a.m. during the colder months of December and January). League play runs November through April. The monthly meetings are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m., with golf following at noon. Regular league play for the 2024-25 season will resume in November of 2024.
