The Sun Lakes Republican Club will feature “Protecting Liberty and Celebrating Life” with guest speakers, Arizona Republican National Committeeman Tyler Bowyer and Ashley Trussel of Arizona Life Coalition, at its monthly meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at 6:30 p.m. in the Navajo Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club, at 25601 S. Sun Lakes Blvd., in Sun Lakes. The public is invited! Please bring your neighbors and friends! Our mission is “education for an informed electorate.”
Life is the most fundamental human right. Our national charter, the Declaration of Independence, declares our most basic human rights as Americans are the rights to “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (property).” 2022 marked the 49-year anniversary of the infamous Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision, which had legalized abortion for any reason during all nine months of pregnancy. The 2022 Supreme Court decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overturned Roe, has many asking, “Where do we go from here?” How do we, as Arizonans, both protect the babies’ lives and support women? Please join us in examining the heartfelt concerns regarding the abortion issue that has been returned to the states, including Arizona, with our first speaker, Ashley Trussel.
Our keynote speaker of the evening is RNC Arizona National Committeeman Tyler Bowyer who will discuss how we can best preserve our fundamental freedom of liberty: What went right and what went wrong in Arizona during Election 2022 … The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly! Do you have confidence in the way our election was run in Maricopa County? Do you feel that your right to vote was preserved and protected?
Tyler Bowyer is a 7th generation Arizonan and conservative activist. He has served as Republican Precinct Committeeman, Congressional Advisory Chairman, Republican Legislative District Chairman, Republican County Chairman of the largest Republican-held County in America, and was a primary organizer and speaker at the first Trump Rally in July of 2015. Tyler joined Charlie Kirk at Turning Point USA in 2015. He later served as Chief Operating Officer while overseeing the nation’s largest and most impactful field program, organized the nation’s largest activist events, and built a digital program that reached millions weekly. Since then, Tyler has moved over to the role of COO of Turning Point Action, the 501(c)(4) organization that operated the nationwide youth effort Students for Trump. In 2020 he was elected as one of the youngest members of the RNC as National Committeeman representing Arizona. Tyler resides in Mesa, Ariz., with his wife Lauren and three children: Brooks, Nell, and Quincy.
