The National Kitchen & Bath Association organizes an annual Kitchen and Bath Show (KBIS), and companies are invited to submit their new, innovative products to compete to win Gold or Silver in five categories. They are products that make a design statement, are game changing, are most functional, are standout sustainable, or in the wellness trailblazer category. There is also the coveted top award, 2024 KBIS Best in Show. This article looks at the ones you might want to include in your next bathroom remodel!

Best in Show. Freepower’s Freepower is mounted under a stone counter to provide wireless charging for cell phones when you set it down within its designated areas. An outline will light up when the phone is near.

Gold Style Statement Award. Tenzo Fine Plomberie Wall Mounted Tub Filler with 12-inch swivel spout and retractable docking shower hose that stores in the wall. You can push the spout aside when getting up out of the tub and give yourself, and it, a good rinse!

Silver Style Statement Award. Fantini Venezia by Venini are brightly colored two-tone or clear with black patterning Murano glass faucet handles. Each is a unique one-of-a-kind.

Sustainable Standout Gold. Rainstick by Rainstick is an innovative showering system that recirculates water up to six times and goes through three stages of cleaning to save 80% on water usage and energy. Most water conserving showers have a flow rate of 1.5 gallons a minute (GPM). By recycling the water, one will have the luxury of the experience of a 3 GPM shower but only be using .5 GPM of water!

Sustainable Standout Silver. KOHLER, in collaboration with Nada Debs Transcendence. Teaming up with KOHLER WasteLAB, recycled tiles are used to create tiles with a color gradient and crackle design or with bold or neutral colors.

Wellness Trailblazer Gold. KOHLER SpaViva Two-Function Handshower and All-in-One Cleansing Device. The showerhead magnetically docks and offers four attachments: a facial brush, body brush, body scrubber, and a body massager. It has a new pore-penetrating MicroBubble spray and their Katalyst spray that retains more heat with each drop.
