Meet and Greet for Unit 32A
Reggie Wegman
The bi-annual Meet and Greet for Unit 32A was held on April 29.
Debbie Aarestad volunteered her driveway and staples for the event. We are a small but marvelous unit with terrific, interesting homeowners from all over the country. Twice a year we try to get together with as little ruckus as possible. The entire neighborhood and surrounding homeowners are invited. We have fun getting to know our new neighbors and keeping in touch with our longtime residents. Stories from vacations, grandchildren, golf outings, hikes, and new hobbies are shared.
Everyone is asked to bring a chair, a drink, and a pass-around. The snacks were wonderful, including fruit salads, hummus, stuffed potato skins, cool and delicious shrimp cocktail, fried chicken, lots of chips and dips, tomato basil and mozzarella sticks, and a wonderful watermelon salad, as well as pigs in a blanket.
The next event will be in the fall, most likely in late October.
