It was a beautiful day on Saturday, November 11 as 155 walkers signed up for our 2nd Annual Fun Walk, which supports the Cottonwood Palo Verde Foundation. As you can see by the picture, there were a number of dogs and even some children that also walked. We had a dozen interesting and informational vender booths that day. Dr. Maddy Paschal and John (saxophone) cheered everyone on with their fun and upbeat songs throughout the entire walk. Big thanks go to Jerry House, who took care of all our sound needs for the day. On the Friday night before the walk, a big pep rally was enjoyed by everyone. Cottonwood Food and Beverage really outdid themselves with the delicious and beautifully presented trays of food. A terrific job was done by the committee: Irene D’Aloisio, Sharon Felts and daughter Kandace Rea, MJ Clement, Ricki O’Keeffe, Julie Ortbahn, Elaine Kramer (President of CWPV Foundation) and Linda Caton. The night ended with the drawing of 32 great raffle gifts for the participants who were present.
