The 60 Plus Club is a large not-for-profit club whose sole purpose is to provide fun and entertainment for its members. Dues are $7.50 per person per calendar year.

The 60 Plus Club is looking for a volunteer to serve on its Board of Directors as a Vice President. If you or someone you know would like to help the club by volunteering for this position or if you have any questions regarding the duties pertaining to this position please contact Jeanne Russo at 480-802-4286. We need to fill this position if this club is to stay in existence.

Upcoming events:

October 9 – Phantom! – Hale Centre Theatre (evening performance). The cost is $45 per person and includes transportation, show and driver’s gratuity. The bus departs Oakwood Arts and Crafts parking lot at 6:00 p.m. for the 7:00 p.m. show. The last date for a refund was September 25.

October 20 – Musical Instruments Museum, Phoenix. MIM displays more than 6,000 instruments collected from around 200 of the world’s countries and territories! User-friendly wireless headsets are available for use while in the MIM galleries and their usage is included in the price. Guests may bring their own personal headphones for use during their visit as well. The cost is $40 per person and includes transportation, admission to the museum and driver’s gratuity. The bus departs Oakwood Arts and Crafts parking lot at 12:30 p.m. and should arrive back in Sun Lakes between 4:30-5:00 p.m. The last date for a refund is October 6. Note: A 20 passenger minimum is required for this tour.

October 23 – The Producers – Arizona Broadway Theatre, Peoria (sit-down lunch and show). The cost is $82 per person and includes transportation, sit-down lunch (from a special menu) and driver’s gratuity. Water and coffee are included in the price. Non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, soft drinks and desserts are not included. The bus departs Oakwood Arts and Crafts Center parking lot at 10:30 a.m. The last date for a refund was September 23. Note: There is a 20 passenger minimum required for this tour.

November 13 – The Sound of Music – Hale Centre Theatre (evening performance). The cost is $45 per person and includes transportation, show and driver’s gratuity. The bus departs Oakwood Arts and Crafts parking lot at 6:00 p.m. for the 7:00 p.m. show. The last date for a refund is October 30.

December 24-27 – Christmas in San Diego Tour. The cost is $750 per person double, $1,050 per person single occupancy. Contact Jeanne Russo at 480-802-4286 for a detailed brochure if interested in this tour.
