Agave Quilters Guild will host its 9th Annual Quilt Show & Boutique on Saturday, March 30, in the Sun Lakes Oakwood Ballroom from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is FREE. Each attendee will receive a free raffle ticket to try their luck at one of the many raffle opportunities – gift baskets, mini quilts and an art quilt. They will have an opportunity to pick their favorite quilt from the wall quilts categories for Viewer’s Choice Award. The Viewer’s Choice Award will be presented to the quilter who exemplifies the art of quilting.

A beautiful quilt, traditionally called an “Opportunity Quilt,” is just one of the raffle items offered at the quilt show. The quilt is a fundraiser for the guild and supports programming and community outreach. Raffle tickets for the Opportunity Quilt can be purchased in advance at the next guild meeting on March 6 at 1:00 p.m. in the Oakwood Ballroom. Tickets will be available at the show.

Don’t miss the Boutique at the Quilt Show! In addition to a colorful display of traditional and art quilts, our Boutique offers a wide variety of unique items for sale. Guild members have made a number of beautiful things that will be for sale. Each item is unique and locally-made. All proceeds go to the guild.
