Hi all! Looking for a challenge, change, or something that simply takes you away from the TV or keeps you from eating too much? Why not think of something fun that you can do for our Second Annual 2025 Variety Show. It’ll be held at Sun Lakes Country Club and is sponsored by Sun Lakes Community Theatre. Maybe think of something you can do alone on stage or with a friend or two! Imagine—think outside the box! We have plenty of singers but would like to have other talent, too. We want a “variety” of acts.
Dance, play a harmonica or fiddle, act out a monologue or theatrical scene with a friend, read poetry, make up a comedy routine, try magic, ventriloquism, or juggle. We are looking for acts that show two to three minutes of talent that have no electrical instruments. Last year the Variety Show sold out within several hours and was enjoyed by all (or the audience was full of amazing actors).
The Second Annual Variety Show 2025 will be March 10-13, 2025, and entertaining acts are open to anyone living in or related to a resident of Sun Lakes. That means your family member could be in it. There will be auditions, mostly just to assure the show has a variety of acts. The cost will be $30 and includes a buffet dinner and the show. We will advertise specifics when it gets closer, but I simply wanted to tickle your creativity and remind you that you could be an act!
