After the long, hot summer, Diana Perez is eager to perform for the final year of the Arizona Classic Jazz Festival. Diana and her band Sentimental Breeze are scheduled to perform on Nov. 1, 2, and 3. The jazz festival will again be held at the Crowne Plaza Phoenix – Chandler Golf Resort in Chandler.
As the saying goes, “All good things must come to an end,” and this is no exception. The lineup of fantastic bands may make this, the 35th and last year, the best year ever. Diana’s band is looking forward to it and sharing their special songs they do so well. Diana and her band do a variety of music from the ‘40s, ‘50s, and ‘60s that is sure to please everyone. Diana especially likes the songs she does, because they bring back strong, beautiful memories for so many listeners. Come and enjoy songs from artists such as Nat King Cole, Louis Armstrong, Sarah Vaughn, Peggy Lee, Billie Holiday, Jo Staford, Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, and Vera Lynn, to name just a few.
The Arizona Classic Jazz Festival is an event you will not want to miss, so mark your calendar for the first weekend in November, Oct. 31 through Nov. 3. There are daily rates and weekend rates available.
Diana also believes in giving back to the community and is returning for her fifth year performing monthly at The Perfect Place. This award-winning senior daycare is located at First Baptist Church on Alma School Road in Chandler. The senior daycare participants are always excited to see her, and they look forward to hearing those beautiful songs.
