As we approach the end of the year and the end of their time in office, I would like to acknowledge the work of our executive officers. Every well-run organization owes a debt of gratitude to the guys who do the work. Our president Ed Anderson has carried on when some of the key board members were under the weather. Vice President Len Dolins suffered an injury, and the team closed ranks to get the job done. Our treasurer Bob Deken was seriously ill and, thank heavens, is now well and back on the course. Despite that, the players never missed receiving their winnings. Secretary David Mork had some serious health challenges and worked through them to keep our meetings going and our records up to date. Other members stepped up to help. Jerry Richards was assigned VP duties and did a great job while recruiting and training new game managers. We also had a lot of help from brothers Bill and Bob Pender. So, to all of them, we say well done and thanks.
