Sometimes treasure is found in your own backyard. Paul Joachin contacted the Metal Lokators’ Club for help finding his lost hearing aid. His hearing aid had enough metal in it that one of our members was able to find it.

Anyone having lost a metal object of value to them is welcome to contact the Lokators’ Club and have our members search for your item. Contact our club Treasurer Virginia Koehler at 480-883-9672. We may be able to help.

December’s Christmas luncheon was held at Cheddars where we were able to visit with friends, members and their spouses. Everyone enjoyed good food and socializing.

The Sun Lakes Metal Lokators’ Club meets the second Monday of every month October through April. Dues are $15 per person per year. Our next meeting will be held Monday, January 9 at 1:00 p.m. at Sun Lakes Country Club. Everyone is welcome to join us to see if this is an activity you would like to do.

If you have no metal detector and would like to try one out, you may come to one of our monthly hunts and use the club’s detector.
