As we continue to abide by the current social distancing guidelines, the Sun Lakes Camera Club summer sessions will be on hold. Per our current president, our club is following all state and federal guidelines for the prevention of spreading the coronavirus COVID-19. All club activities have been postponed, rescheduled, or accommodated to meet safety standards and guidelines. As this finds us in June 2020, we will abide by any precautions necessary as information is provided to us by the state and federal governments.

Please do not hesitate to visit coronavirus.gov for more and up-to-date information. Our club will keep our website up to date regarding meetings for the summer session, so visit sunlakescameraclub.com. Emails will also be a source of communication, so please reach out if any of your information has changed or needs to be updated.

A new normal indeed. As photographers and travelers, we can get creative with how we can continue to develop our passion for taking pictures. One idea is to document how your family and neighbors are dealing with their new normal by offering to take a family portrait from a safe distance, such as the end of the driveway or curb. Families and friends can be photographed inside or outside from these safe distances. Get on your creative hats for how you can continue to use your camera!

Members: please look to the website and emails for a special event for August to make up for our early summer session meetings that the Ceramic Room will not be able to accommodate. Due to the Fourth of July, we will not meet for the month of July. Please reach out to our leaders to assist with the flags.

Stay safe, stay home, and stay well. We look forward to connecting again when it is safe to do so. Interested in becoming a part of our club and have a unique skill-set to offer? Please reach out to our leaders at the numbers below.
