The African American Association of Sun Lakes’ annual Christmas Party will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, in the Oakwood Ballroom from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Our featured entertainment for the evening is the band Silhouette, a vibrant and versatile band specializing in Jazz, Motown, and contemporary music. Silhouette has performed at Barcelona Restaurant in North Scottsdale, Casino Arizona, Lone Butte Casino, El Pedregal, and the Talking Stick Resort.

Cornelius (Corn) Bishop (vocals) has shared the stage with recording artists such as the likes of J.J. Jackson, Dionne Warwick, Dobie Gray, Gene Chandler, Jerry Butler, Melba Moore, and he recently opened for Bobby Caldwell at the Montelucia Resort.

Anthony Kinchon (lead guitar) has been playing guitar since the age of 12. He currently can be heard on several albums, such as Nelson Rangell, Marion Meadows, Sister Sledge, Chaz (Wolfman) Jackson, and E28. Anthony has toured with The Drifters, Platters, Sister Sledge, Natalie Cole, and Khani Cole.
