We are pleased to add a name to the list of donors. As you can see, the Robson Resort community has joined the following groups that have given the club financial support. The Anglers Club also receives financial assistance from the following organizations; the Sun Lakes Breakfast Lions Club, the Sun Lakes Lions Foundation, the Sun Lakes VFW and the Sun Lakes Women’s Association. In addition to financial help, the members of these organizations also lend a hand in helping the kids fish. The Sun Lakes firefighters also help out with the fishing when their schedule permits. There can be up to 30 youngsters at a derby. The Anglers sincerely appreciate the help of all you generous support.

We have completed our fishing derbies for the spring. There were five derbies with schools and the Grandparents Derby April 4. We thank all the people who helped with the setup, take down and helping the kids fish. It does require a number of folks to make these events happen.

As I mentioned, we sponsor the Flea Market in the Sun Lakes Country Club parking lot on the third Saturday of the month.
