Back to School with New Adventures!

This is the face of someone who forgot to sign up for the New Adventures in Learning Golf Injury Prevention class. Don’t let this be you!

Kyle Messner

As the end of summer is in sight (almost!) and the sun begins to relent just a little, the anticipation at New Adventures in Learning is rising! With 17 new presenters and a wide variety of topics, it is going to be a great semester! New topics include golf-specific mobility and injury prevention, American Sign Language, Impressionists in Winter, rocket science, and the AARP Driver Safety course. And that’s only the beginning! Whether it’s learning a new language or pet therapy, these classes provide the platform to acquire knowledge in a supportive and stimulating environment.

You will also find a sense of community and camaraderie. Whether through group discussions, collaborative projects, or social events, there are plenty of opportunities for meaningful connections and friendships to flourish. The exchange of ideas and experiences among individuals from different walks of life enriches the learning experience and promotes a culture of lifelong growth and development.

So, lifelong learning is more than just “back to school,” but a celebration of our own intellectual curiosity and personal growth. Let’s embrace new challenges, make new connections, and expand our horizons. We’ll embark on this journey together with enthusiasm, determination, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

Registration opens online at www.cgc.edu/community/lifelong-learning/classes and in person at the Sun Lakes Center on Sept. 18. Membership costs $60 a year and then $20 a semester for unlimited classes. Have questions? Call 480-857-5500.
