Last month, Bill Schink received a special honor from the Sun Lakes Rotary Club when he was named Good Guy for the year 2015.

Since joining Sun Lakes Rotary in October 2010, Bill’s service to the club has been exemplary. Last year, he served as President of the club while at the same time chairing the annual Charity Golf Tournament. Apparently, his success with that brought him the honor of chairing the tournament again this year; something he does with great distinction. He also serves on the club’s Strategic Planning Committee, its Charity Review Committee and its Membership Committee.

Bill’s demeanor and patience with the adverse problems that go with the job well qualify him for the prestigious Good Guy award that was presented to him at the April 21 Rotary meeting.

Bill and his wife, Barb, are the parents of two and grandparents of two. He is a graduate of the University of Washington with both a BA and an MA.
