On Friday, February 13 Oasis Park hosted Sisk Park in a day-long bocce tournament. Each team played a minimum of two matches. Each match consisted of the best two out of three games. All of the players experienced their exercise for the day with four teams playing a third match to determine the awards. Each park was represented by four teams for this fun and yet competitive annual tournament.

The first place team was from Oasis Park and consisted of Donna Branscom, Jean Parrish, Carol Anderson and Val Fazio; the second place team was from Sisk Park and consisted of Doc Heckler, Gary Bross, Terry Sporleder and Tony Racano; the third place team was from Oasis Park and consisted of Ann Galleger, Norine Bassett, Shauna Duncan, Forrest Chevrount and Larry Pigg.

This year’s tournament director was Ellen Williams with a fantastic group of volunteers working the luncheon for the players and other guests. The Sisk Park coordinator was Rita Lobello. Both Sisk Park and Oasis Park are looking forward to a great time in 2016.
