Advisory Board members meet at Oakwood Country Club every other month on the third Thursday of the month usually at 2:30 p.m. before the social at 4:00 p.m. President Ginny Marr presides over the group – thanks Ginny for your guidance and leadership for so many years! Business includes various topics of interest: membership, dues, activities, planning for coming events, etc. Any member of Cheers is welcome to observe the meetings but isn’t eligible to vote on items that come up in the agenda. Advisory members must have one year as a member of Cheers before being selected for the Board. If you have interest in becoming an advisory board member in the future contact Ginny Marr showing your interest. Without the leadership of this fine group of members, Cheers Singles wouldn’t be such the vibrant and active group in our community as the club is so a hearty thank you for all of you!
