Fine Dining in April was a small group but a fun evening with laughs and enjoyment while dining at D’vine Bistro and Wine Bar in south Chandler. Dinner was excellent and of course the wine was also! Laurie Starr makes the arrangements for the monthly event usually held on the last Tuesday of the month. However, May’s dining was a luncheon held at the Arizona Culinary Institute in Scottsdale on May 27. It’s an excellent choice to visit for either lunch or dinner; the students who study at the Institute are learning their trade while the patrons enjoy the excellent choices they prepare and serve. If you’ve never been there I highly recommend you try it!

Cheers is a group of singles who enjoy fellowship and monthly events, both small and large group activities. Weekly socials are held at the Oakwood Country Club in the lounge at 4:00 p.m. every Thursday. Come visit us; we’re a friendly group of singles enjoying the wonderful location in Sun Lakes where we live. The welcome table at the lounge is staffed by our welcome committee and check the bulletin board to see some past and coming events that I’m sure you will find interesting. See you there!
