The Chordaires are looking for a few good singers! Did you ever want to sing with a group of fun women? Have you ever sung in a chorus or choir? No? Experience is not a requirement. If you can’t help singing in the car or shower, then you should visit us to see what we are all about.

The Chordaires are an open and inclusive community chorus of women united by love of singing barbershop harmony as well as other styles. We would love to have your voice join us as we begin our 36th season of being one of Sun Lakes’ prized treasures.

The Chordaires Show Chorus of Sun Lakes would like to thank everyone for their wonderful support of our show this past April. We exist for you and your support helps keeps the cultural life of Sun Lakes alive and well. We remind you to mark your calendars for our next big show coming up on March 12, 2016. The show will be titled Broadway Our Way and we have some great show tunes lined up for you to enjoy. You will also have the opportunity to hear us, or sing with us, during the Holiday months.

Thanks to our director, Dr. Adam Thomé, all of Chordaires who were not traveling over the summer had an enjoyable sing-through introduction to the music selected by the music committee. We all loved it and cannot wait to present it to you! We are well on the way to a great spring show for our Sun Lakes community.

Continuing on our tradition of entertaining the community, the Chordaires Ambassadors sang a Memorial Day patriotic performance at Sun Lakes Country Club. The Ambassadors also performed at the Fourth of July show at SunBird.

Representatives from the Chordaires will be at the Oakwood, Cottonwood and Sun Lakes Country Club Open Houses in the fall to answer any questions you might have about becoming a Chordaire. If you have ever wanted to sing in community chorus this will be your chance to learn more about us.

The Chordaires will begin rehearsing again at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14 in the Mirror Room at Sun Lakes Country Club for our holiday performances.
