The Cottonwood Niners’ Member Guest on March 14 was Serious! Serious fun, that is. One hundred forty-four participants enjoyed luncheon and golf with the theme of Clowning Around the Course. We had gift baskets and auctions and door prizes and surprises, beautiful weather and Fun. We also had a purpose; we raised $6,000.00 for Neighbors Who Care. Our charity committee presented the check to NWC representatives at our farewell luncheon on April 4. Also, Rochelle Wilson was presented her trophy for Most Improved Golfer for the season… drum roll, please!

The Niners continue regular Thursday afternoon play through May 31; however, this will be the last publicity article until the fall. Some of us Stay Birds, who don’t mind the occasional drop of sweat, loosely organize games throughout the summer. November 1 is the official start of our new season, with November 7 the first play date. Come join the fun!
