Cottonwood Palo Verde Foundation

The Cottonwood Palo Verde Foundation has been founded to provide services and facilities designed to enhance the health and well-being of adults residing in our community. These services would include physical fitness, mental stimulation, improvements to handicap access and social activities.

The foundation is classified as a 501(c)(3) organization by the Internal Revenue Service and as such contributions to the foundation are tax deductible.

Types of gifts accepted include checks, securities, wills and bequests, real estate, life insurance policies and charitable trusts.

Similar foundations have proven to be very successful at retirement communities including Leisure World (Mesa) and Trilogy at Power Ranch.

A Board of Directors governs the foundation. Current officers are Elaine Kraemer, president, Bob Carlson, vice-president, Keith Nelson, secretary and Kelz Kelzenberg, treasurer.

The Cottonwood Palo Verde Foundation is independent and has no connection with the Cottonwood Palo Verde Homeowners Association.

The foundation provides an opportunity for individuals to make a difference. If someone wishes to donate to a worthy cause which will not only give back to the community but will also grant a tax-exemption, please use the following information or contact any member of the board. Donations may be made in honor of or in memory of an individual and will be acknowledged.
