Crystal Cards go international

Lieu Searston (left) stocked up on Crystal Cards to take back to Australia during her visit with Connie Dovris (right), a resident of Ironwood.

Crystal Cards are now being shared in Australia. They got there when Lieu Searston bought them here in Sun Lakes during a holiday visit. She and her friend Connie Dovris, who lives in Sun Lakes, went to a Crystal Card sale. Lieu was so impressed, she bought as many as she could fit in her suitcase on the way home.

Last year, through a team effort with Intel, The Crystal Card Project provided over 2000 holiday cards to be sent to members of our military serving overseas.

So, Crystal Cards are reaching far beyond our Sun Lakes community to offer holiday greetings to those all over the world.

It’s not too late to stock up on cards for the holidays and the new year – whether you are sending them across the globe or across the street.

Crystal Cards will be on sale on the following dates in December:

December 3 (Monday) from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Renaissance lobby

December 5 (Wednesday) from 9:30 a.m. to noon in the Cottonwood Ballroom

December 12 (Wednesday) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Oakwood Bradford Room

December 13 (Wednesday) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Oakwood Bradford Room

December 14 (Friday) from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Renaissance lobby
