Most of the part-time residents are back and while others left for the holidays, PVMGA golf activity was in full swing, and we are pleased to report on last month’s activities. Here they are:

On December 1, the Select-a-Drive competition was won by Jack Hopkins, Dave Marcus, Don Peterson and Jim Davis.

A 2-man Scramble was held on December 8 and was won by Bruce Medhurst and Tom Jones.

On December 15, the annual Ace of Aces Tournament was held with Pat Conroy claiming the Gross Championship and Vaughn Torgusen the Net Champion.

On December 22, a Designated Driver game was played with Terry Denefe, Lee Brechtel, Mike Mlynarczyk and Richard Thomas claiming first place.

On December 29, a 2-Net Best Ball contest was played. The winners were Dave Florence, Bill Ryan, Marty Nielson and Bob Kruse.

With the cold snap of weather, it has been interesting to see how many layers golfers can wear and still swing a golf club. Also, there haven’t been too many bare legs seen in recent weeks. Have faith… it will warm up soon.
