Desert Artists Club members are happy to see our seasonal residents and visitors returning. You always bring rejuvenating energy and projects that invigorate our club’s creativity. We’ve also really missed you!

If you are new to Sun Lakes or are thinking of joining an art group, the Desert Artists Club (DAC) would love to meet you. We are a friendly group of artists at all experience levels and media, including watercolor, pastel, mixed media, oil, and anything else you can imagine. Our purpose is to promote good fellowship, cooperation, and development among artists and those interested in the visual arts. We support each other in a space that is creative, encouraging, and free of outside daily stressors. We also get together on occasion for social gatherings and artistic outings and have some fun and educational demonstrations. We have no dues or formal meetings. So please come and join us.

The Desert Artists meet year-round every Tuesday afternoon from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Ceramics Room (8-A) in Cottonwood.

Remember, personal artworks make wonderful gifts for those you remember over the holidays. It could be something large or small, like a bookmark or individual card. When it comes from your hands and heart, it has special meaning for those receiving it.
