It’s our 7th annual Restaurant Raffle. The Sun Lakes Chapel is running a raffle, all of the proceeds of which will go to the maintenance of the Chapel and Chapel Center which hosts four congregations: The Sun Lakes Community Church, The Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation, The Sun Lakes Lutheran Church and The Sun Lakes United Church of Christ. You can win prizes of free dinners for two at some of the best restaurants in the East Valley. There will be at least 16 winners, and first prize is dinner for two to seven restaurants.

Here is a list, in alphabetical order, of the great restaurants in our Raffle: Abuelo’s, Asian Grill, Black Angus, Black Rock Coffee Bar, California Pizza, Chase Diner, Cheddar’s, Chompies, Coconuts, Cottonwood/Palo Verde, Cuisine & Wine Bistro, Eat Fit & Go, Fiesta Mexicana, Flemings, Floridino, Fired Pie, Garcia’s, IronOaks, The Ivy, Keegan’s, Kneader’s, Kona Grill, La Casa Blanca, Majerles, Outback, Papa Murphy, Pita Jungle, Popeye’s, Rigatony’s, Singing Panda, Stone & Vine, Sun Lakes Phase 1, Sweet Tomatoes, Tao Garden, Tom’s B.B.Q. and Village Inn.

Raffle tickets are $ 1.00 each, 7 tickets for $ 5.00, 15 tickets for $10.00 and 35 tickets for $20. Tickets can be purchased from Edla from SL United Church of Christ at 480-895-5878, Laura from SL Lutheran Church at 605-359-9803 or Barbara from SL Jewish Congregation at 480- 802-3281.

There will be a drawing at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel Center on November 18. You will be called. You need not be there. Tickets will be sold at the Cottonwood Horse Races Monday evening on November 6 and November 13. Tickets are available at the Chapel Center in Sun Lakes on November 18. You can purchase raffle tickets from members of Sun Lakes United Church of Christ, Sun Lakes Lutheran Church and Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation.
