Give yourself a gift that will keep on giving… better health… a new skill… increased social opportunities. The list goes on and on. Where do you go for this kind of opportunity? Answer… on the dance floor. The benefits of dancing with a partner range from better balance to heading off dementia and then some. So-o–o…
Grab your dancing shoes (if you have them) and a good-looking partner (if you have one) and join us on the dance floor where you will be amazed how super simple it is to learn Basic Social Dancing. In just one hour you will be able to move to any song that is played. If you don’t have shoes or a partner, don’t let that stop you. Once you can dance, everyone will want to be your partner.
There’s nothing to memorize, and we focus primarily on the music being played and our connection with our partner. It’s dancing reduced to its simplest format ever.
There will be Basic Social Dance classes starting the week of January 6 in the dance studio located in the Cottonwood community. Call to get details on start times and additional details. It will be the best decision you make this new year.
