Crafting Together Series
Dec. 5 and Dec. 12
Join us for a unique craft! Each session provides an opportunity to create something new. Learn a new activity while you engage with the community, relax, and have fun. All skill levels are welcome, and all materials are provided as we enjoy crafting together!
This month’s adult crafts (ages 10 and up): Holiday Cards (Dec. 5) and Snowflake Bags (Dec. 12)
Recipe Swap
Dec. 2 at 10 a.m.
Join us once a month to share and swap recipes! During this time, you are encouraged to share stories about your favorite recipes. Participants will be provided with a Robson recipe book where you can add the new recipes you receive. Please bring a copy of the recipe you want to share so we can create and pass out copies.
Book and a Craft
Dec. 4 at 10 a.m.
Come to the library to learn new rhymes, read fun books, and learn new literacy skills that you can practice at home! After the story, we will have a group craft to do. Storytime is intended for families of all ages.
Elderly Abuse—Protect Your Golden Egg During Your Golden Years Series, by Maria
Dec. 6 at 2 p.m.
You will learn the different types of abuse seniors face from caregivers, family, or strangers when dealing with money. You will have the tools to fight back and protect your money while outsmarting anyone trying to pull a fast-one on you.
Readers Rendezvous
Dec. 9 at 10 a.m.
Join fellow readers once a month to talk about what you’re reading! This will be a book club-style discussion but with no required title to read. Discuss what you love to read, share some recommendations, and leave with new titles to read!
Consumer Scam Protection
Dec. 10 at 2 p.m.
Learn about fraud and scam protection from the Arizona Attorney General’s Office. Receive information about how to protect yourself.
Book Club Is My Alibi

Join us at our Mystery Book Club! Every month we will be discussing a new contemporary mystery. Copies of our next book will be distributed at the end of the meeting.
Wooden Snowflake Magnets
Dec. 14 at 2 p.m.
Even if it isn’t snowing in Arizona, we can make our own! Make a wonderful wooden snowflake you can use as a magnet at home to get into the winter spirit.

Teachin’ Tech

Teachin’ Tech is a monthly class that teaches you how to use and operate computers, tablets, or other digital devices! Each session will cover a topic such as how to navigate the web, how to sign up for an email, or how to stay safe online. This program is intended for those who are new to the digital world, but anyone is welcome to attend. Please note: This program is not for individualized tech help.
Workshop Writing: Favorite Family Holidays

Families observe and celebrate a range of holidays for religious, secular, historical, familial, or even whimsical reasons. In this workshop, each of us will write about a favorite family holiday—how and why we celebrate it.

The Ed Robson Film Society
Dec. 20 at 2:30 p.m.
The Ed Robson Film Society is a new program series based around watching and discussing relevant and important films from around the world. This month’s film will be Jimmy Carter: Rock & Roll President (2020). Following the screening, we will have a book club-style discussion based around the film.
Candy Sushi

Make some unique candy treats that look like sushi but taste even better! All supplies will be provided for you to make your sushi snack.
Digital Resources Presentation
