Don’t miss Women’s Connection’s Silent Auction/Raffle on Thursday, November 9, in the Kingston Ballroom of the Oakwood Country Club. This popular event is the perfect opportunity for the best girlfriend time ever! Doors will open at 8:00 a.m., so be sure to come early. Brunch to be served a 9:00 a.m. Raffle tickets will be available to purchase at the door. Cost is one ticket for $3.00, two tickets for $5.00, five tickets for $10.00 and 13 tickets for $20.00. Tables will be filled with a marvelous selection of gift baskets to choose from, including boutique items, Top Golf, wellness products and services, pet grooming, gourmet foods and much more. The front of the room will feature our spectacular golden ticket gift baskets. You will want to bid on these high-ticket items like rounds of golf, gift cards, Diamondback tickets and especially five hours of professional time by Executive Chef a GoGo Bob Harrison. Golden tickets for these very special baskets will be $5.00 each. Every one of the wonderful baskets makes an excellent gift for any occasion, especially Christmas. Invite your friends and neighbors to join you for a fun-filled morning of delicious brunch, lots of socialization and a gifted speaker. The event also provides an opportunity to help a worthy cause by supporting the worldwide outreach of Stonecroft Inc.

Cheryl Lee Davis is a nationally-known author and speaker from Kansas City who serves as Vice President of Women’s Connection for Stonecroft Inc. She also had important leadership roles with MOPS International, Focus on the Family and Compassion International. Cheryl is the author of two short devotional books, Safe Place and just recently-released Rely. Through a talk titled “Surprising Presence,” she will share about her career and life, about the good, the bad and the bitter. Laugh or cry as you join her journey to hope and healing.

The cost is $20.00. Cancellations must be made no later than Monday, November 6, by 10:00 a.m. by calling Cindi at 515-770-7974. A reservation made is a reservation paid. Reservations not canceled must be honored.
