Friends play a very important role in one’s life. We are who we are because others are who they are. The interaction and interplay adds all kinds of dimensions to one’s lifestyle.

Sun Lakes Lutheran Church will present a summer sermon series on the “Friendship Factor”. Pastor Dale Hallberg and Pastor Cora Aguilar will present a 10-week approach to friendship.

In June the congregation was surveyed as to their input and suggestions on the vital elements of having and maintaining friends. The top five elements were honesty, trust, loyalty, caring and communications. The pastors will also include respect, empathy, sharing, humor and concern. The series will conclude with a message on maintaining friendship. Each Sunday we will consider what the scriptures have to say about such qualities.

Worship services are at the cool morning hour of 8:00 a.m. Following the service we will gather for coffee, conversation and friendship.
