Beverly Tall will present a very informative program about orchids at the Sun Lakes Garden Club meeting at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 17. She is an American Orchid Society judge who travels all over the world to judge international orchid shows, as well as those in the U.S. Ms Tall will speak about how to grow orchids in the Phoenix area, both in homes and in greenhouses. Very helpfully, she will advise which type of orchids are easiest for the novice to grow. Most important of all, she will discuss how to get them to rebloom.

As a bonus, she will bring some of her blooming plants with her, so attendees will be able to see different varieties of orchids firsthand.

Sun Lakes Garden Club meets at 9:00 a.m. on the third Tuesday of every month at Sun Lakes Chapel Center, 9230 E. Sun Lakes Blvd. (located across the street from the Sun Lakes Country Club and next to the Sun Lakes Chapel). Visitors are welcome.
