In February several members met at a local park to practice finding targets. It was a beautiful day and everyone enjoyed the sunshine and fresh air.

The club rented a table at the February Anglers Rummage Sale to raise money for their hunt in March. A thank you goes to all who donated items and all who helped sell.

In March, Metal Lokator members have their big hunt. Current members must have their fee paid to the treasurer on or before the March 9 meeting to be eligible for the hunt. Members hunt for targets that have monetary values assigned to them. Everyone wins something.

The Sun Lakes Metal Lokators Club meets the second Monday of every month October through April. Dues are $15 per person per year. Most meetings are held at 1:00 p.m. in the Friendship Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club. Everyone is welcome to join us to see if this is an activity you would like to do.

If you do not have a metal detector and would like to try one out, you may come to one of our monthly hunts and use the club’s detector.
