HLAA to meet February 8

Regina Milgroom

Sun Lakes Hearing Loss Association Chapter presents Lin Sue Cooney, a former newscaster on 12 News, who will discuss Hospice, Hearing Loss, Myths and Services.

Lin Sue Cooney, Director of Community Engagement for Hospice of the Valley, will share information about programs and services available at no cost and shatter some myths about hospice care. She will present a special training video that was produced in partnership with local HLAA and Hospice of the Valley. This video will ensure that patients are able to hear the world around them, even if they are no longer able to communicate. Lin Sue may have changed professions, but her passion to serve is stronger than ever!

The presentation will be on Thursday, February 8, 2018, from 12:45 to 2:30 p.m. at the Ed Robson Branch Library, Lecky Center, 9330 E. Riggs Road, Sun Lakes, AZ 85248.

You are not alone! If you, a family member or a friend is challenged by hearing loss, please come and join us for education, sharing and refreshments. All are welcome. You owe it to yourself! CART (real-time captioning) is provided, and the meeting room is looped, thanks to the Friends of the Library, for your hearing accessibility. Please park in the church lot next to the library. Thanks.
