The lady with the happy smile on the left in the accompanying photo is Sandy Patten-Joseph from Palo Verde. She scored a hole-in-one on June 11th during summer league play. Her playing partners that day were Ruth Ann McGilvra (middle) and Angie Ernst (right). Both are ILGA ladies. Their winning score was 91. This is proof positive that even during a hot Arizona summer there is fun and excitement to be had on the golf course!

That summer fun continues with summer league and regular league play. The fewer participants make zipping around the course in record time very possible and the 7:00 a.m. shotgun start gets you back in the Clubhouse before the high  heat of the day.
