Game of the Day: The game of the day on March 19 was Beat the Pro. Eddy Renio, Director of Golf, joined our ladies at the 7:30 a.m. shotgun off the back nine. Eddy challenged our ladies by shooting a 33 and was absolutely awesome. The following ladies beat the Pro: Paula Bartoo, Kay Blas, Susie Cook, Bettie Farr, Toni Flanagan, Marcia Gaudioso, Sandy Howard, Barbara Johnston, Melissa Kephart, Jeanine Krause, Rony Lacey, Dottie Meade, Shirley Miller, Leta Polson, Lorene Roberts, Susan Schaeffer, Linda Spink, Irene Strybosch, Leslie Swan and Bonnie Tasch. Congratulations! These ladies certainly brought their A-game.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s check presentations: On April 14 Tournament Co-Chairs Denise Fleshner and Kathy Serold and Treasurer Rachel Enloe presented a check for $4,100 to Chairman Joyce Aune and Director of Operations Judy Waltersdorf of The Perfect Place. Our ladies also presented another $4,100 check to Executive Director Eric Ehst of Neighbors Who Care. The $8,200 total should go a long way in helping our local charities. Thank you all who helped make these donations possible.

University of Wyoming Cowgirls: The Cowgirls hosted their annual Invitational on April 7-8 at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club. There were 18 colleges and universities that participated in the tournament. Members of our IWLN family who volunteered their time and services during this event were Marcia Gaudioso, Ann and Harry Roehl, Ann Gavin, Clarisse and Don Zornes, Dee Siehl, Jeanne and Jan Norton, Nancy and Jack Davis, Susie and Charles Cook and Susan and Lloyd Schaeffer. This was a fun event with amazing golf plus they may have seen an up-and-coming LPGA potential professional.

Ironwood course closure: The Ironwood clubhouse parking lot will be closed from June 2-June 8 for resurfacing. The Ironwood golf course will also be closed during this same time for maintenance. All of the facilities will be closed because there will be no access to the Ironwood Clubhouse since the parking lot will be closed.
