The speaker will be Bethany Garrity, Director, Corporate Fitness and Active Aging Services National Institute for Fitness and Sport. Much of her time is spent building new relationships with clients who have identified a true desire to do wellness better. In addition, she speaks at the state and national levels on the same topic. Bethany enjoys consulting with senior living communities to help them build better lifestyle opportunities for residents, and partnering with clients on designing new fitness centers,

Bethany’s academic credentials include both a B.S. and an M.S. in Exercise Science, and Certified Exercise Physiologist credential from American College of Sports Medicine. She leads a department of more than 80 full-time staff who work with a diverse group of clients at 60+ fitness centers across the U.S.

She collaborates with clients in senior living communities to help them design, build, equip and staff modern and highly successful fitness facilities.

This educational offering will cover the following topics: Helping homeowners see the benefit in a healthy lifestyle. Understanding how a very broad range of programs in our Health and Wellness Center provides benefit for our homeowners. Bethany will share information on three additional considerations when building a fitness center and must have services in your facility, among other key topics.
