Keep your New Year’s resolutions with the help of essential oils

JoAnne Gaudioso

With the holidays behind us, many of us start thinking about getting back to a healthy lifestyle. Many resolution lists include weight loss, a more deliberate exercise program, stopping bad habits, such as smoking, and improving your self-care routine. We make these resolutions to manage both our physical and mental health. essential oils can help us to maintain these resolutions.

This month, I would like to talk about healthy eating and managing your weight. If you are one of those people who manages to decline all the delicious (yet terrible for you) foods that tend to get passed around during the holidays… read no further.

But I am going to go ahead and assume you’re a bit more like me and indulged maybe a little too much in the holiday goodies. Usually, I have great willpower, but when the holidays come into sight, the cookie monster in me raises its ugly head. Cookies for breakfast, lunch and dinner are, of course, not terribly conducive to a healthy lifestyle.

But, good news! essential oils can really be your best friend when you want to get rid of your sugar cravings once and for all. By using essential oils to beat your sugar cravings, you won’t actually feel like you are going without. You’ll feel satiated, feelings of bloatedness will drain out of you and you will totally amaze your friends by saying “No thanks!” when they try to give you the last of those holiday sweets.

The three best essential oils to beat sugar cravings are: Grapefruit, Peppermint and Cinnamon Bark. These oils will balance your blood sugar, suppress your appetite and prevent emotional eating.

If you are interested in learning more about how essential oils can help you to achieve a healthier lifestyle, I would like to invite you to one of my workshops. You will learn about the uses and benefits of the top 10 basic oils, and during the month of January, we will discuss getting rid of sugar cravings. I will offer some rollerball and diffuser recipes. You will make a rollerball blend that you can take home with you.

January’s Workshop schedule is: Saturday, January 8; Saturday, January 15; Saturday, January, 22 and Saturday, January 29, all at ll:00 a.m. If these dates and times are not convenient, please contact me for a private one-on-one appointment.

Or if you would like to host a workshop for a small group of your friends, you would receive some amazing hostess gifts.
