Living better through assistive technology

Regina Milgroom

Sun Lakes Hearing Loss Association of America Chapter will be presented with Living Better Through Assistive Technology” by Heidi Lervik, Assistive Technology Specialist, Arizona Technology Access Program (AzTAP).

People with disabilities, their family members and service providers often struggle to know what type of assistive technology will help them in their everyday lives. Many people purchase expensive equipment which is often unused or abandoned. The Arizona Technology Access program (AzTAP) aims to address these issues by providing resources, demonstrations and complimentary loaner equipment.

Come and learn what is available to help with our hearing needs on Thursday, February 9, 2017, 12:45-2:30 p.m. at the Ed Robson Branch Library, Lecky Center, 9330 E. Riggs Road, Sun Lakes, AZ 85248.

You are not alone! If you, a family member or a friend is challenged by hearing loss, please come and join us for education, sharing and refreshments. All are welcome—You owe it to yourself! CART (real-time captioning) is provided, and the meeting room is looped for your hearing accessibility. Please park in the church lot next to the library.
