Commander John Sonley of Sun Lakes Chapter 1958 of the Military Order of the Purple Heart thanked Manager Mr. Garrett Wojnarowski of the Gilbert, AZ Outback Steakhouse whose father and grandfather both have been awarded the Purple Heart. To honor current Purple Heart recipients he has reserved two parking sites directly in front of the restaurant’s front door and he has marked the spaces with signs showing the Purple Heart logo.

Manager Garrett stated, “I wanted our customers to know that our employees honor these brave men and women for their sacrifices to our country.”

Commander Sonley presented Mr. Wojnarowski with a vanity license plate which will be hung in the restaurant. Commander Sonley stated, “Such acts as this informs Purple Heart recipients that their sacrifices are appreciated.”
