Steve Colby

Steve is in his second year in the club, having moved to Sun Lakes two years ago. A native of Columbus, Ohio, he lived in Tempe for 39 years. He served as financial manager for the City of Tempe for 13 years, and previously was a comptroller at Arizona State University for 10 years. He and his wife Barbara have six children.

Steve plays 8-Ball, and serves as tournament director for the club. He also enjoys music, teaching guitar and banjo.

Steve is a full-time resident of Sun Lakes but enjoys taking summer vacations. Last year he and his wife explored Yellowstone National Park.

Mike Currier

Mike is one of the newest club members, having joined during the spring meeting in April. Born in Germany, he has lived in Sun Lakes for six months. He spent many years working for Motorola in Phoenix. He and his wife Pamela have five children.

He plans to live in Sun Lakes year around, but enjoys taking vacations during the summer.

He served in the U.S. Air Force. He plays 8-Ball in the pool club, but also enjoys playing table tennis.
