Beginning Thursday, January 14, from noon-1:00 p.m., the Lunchtime Ladies book study will be focusing on Joanna Weaver’s book, Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World. As a woman, have you experienced an inward battle between the need to adhere to duties and responsibilities and your desire to spend time growing spiritually at the Lord’s feet? Weaver’s book is written for “every woman who’s ever felt she isn’t godly enough, isn’t loving enough, isn’t doing enough.” During this 10-week study, Lunchtime Ladies will help participants learn how the “Mary and Martha” in each woman can experience more joy and less anxiety as she draws closer to the Lord, grows in service and deepens her faith.
