Michael Berry

Tom Bauder is a Sun Lakes resident and has been a volunteer with the Sun Lakes Sheriff’s Posse since 2013. He was born and raised in Midland, Michigan, and joined Capital Airlines after graduating high school. Capital Airlines later transitioned in United Airlines.

After 20 years in the aviation industry, Tom attended Delta College at University Center, Michigan, and then Faith Baptist Bible College and Seminary in Ankeny, Iowa, where he graduated with a dual degree in Bible and Theology. Tom served in the Independent Baptist Church ministry for 30 years.

In addition to patrolling Sun Lakes, Tom also serves as Executive Officer for the Posse and is one of the first to volunteer for any special duty in Sun Lakes.

Tom has served with the Civil Air Patrol as both a mission pilot and chaplain for more than 35 years.
