The Sun Lakes Metal Lokators’ Club welcomed our returning members and two new members. Our first meeting was Monday, October 10. One of our members designed a logo for our club which we will be using on future communications. Thank you, MJ Clement, for your all clever designs from which to choose. Our first monthly fun hunt was to Folley Park. We always enjoy fellowship after the hunts.

We meet the second Monday of every month October through April. Most meetings are held at 1:00 p.m. in the Friendship Room of the Sun Lakes Country Club. Our November meeting will be November 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Sun Lakes Country club. We have our December and April meetings at a restaurant. Dues are $15 per person per year. Everyone is welcome to join us to see if this is an activity you would like to do.

We plan to have a table at the Anglers club rummage sale Saturday, November 19. We encourage all our members to save any unwanted household items for our sale. If anyone wants to donate any unwanted items to our club we would be happy to pick them up. Contact our Treasurer Virginia Koehler at 480-883-9672.

If you have no metal detector and would like to try one out, you may come to one of our monthly hunts and use the club’s detector.
